MIGA has been supporting doctors for over 100 years and has a strong commitment to providing personal support, high quality service and broad based insurance cover tailored to the unique needs of the medical profession.

MIGA invests heavily in providing members with access to an industry leading Risk Management Program and offers a premium discount on renewal to members who complete the required activities.

MIGA also recognise that members need support most when they receive a complaint, letter of demand, notice of court proceedings or notice of a coronial inquest.  Members have access to 24 hour emergency medico-legal advice from a staff member. Throughout the matter MIGA will provide support and keep you informed of developments. MIGA also provide access to our Doctors’ Support Service which provides peer and/or professional clinical support to members who would like to talk with an understanding colleague, or require clinical support to assist them cope with their continued medical practice.
