History and Market Position

Strathearn Insurance Brokers was established in 1993.

The company’s principals identified a market sector poorly provided for by both local and international insurance broking houses. Initially, this sector comprised middle range insurance buyers; those clients not regarded as being sufficiently rewarding to provide incentive to large brokers, but on the other hand, too complex for the smaller firms.

We have continued to expand on this, recognising the growth of our clients’ operations over the years which now includes very large insurance buyers.

As the company has developed, this philosophy has proven to be tremendously effective and, with continuous controlled growth, we are now one of Australia’s top general insurance brokers and part of Australia’s largest wholly owned insurance broker network.

We have a high level of client satisfaction due to our rigorous approach to servicing, continuous monitoring of their needs, the changing insurance environment, corporate governance standards and economic conditions.
